Rockfin, a company of global outreach, expanding operations in Gorlice

With over 30 years of experience, global clients, and 12,000sq.m of production facilities, Rockfin operates in Poland and worldwide. It has recently opened a new facility in Gorlice, in the Małopolska Region.

Rockfin sp. z o.o. is a leading manufacturer in the machines industry. It specialises in designing, producing, testing, and servicing advanced oil, fuel, and drive systems for various market sectors. Its main production facility is situated in Małkowo near Gdańsk, which allows convenient maritime transport and use of additional assembly space in the port. The company’s production facilities are situated in Gorlice, Bydgoszcz, and Elbląg, and it runs it technical and sales operations from Elbląg (Poland), Italy, and the US.

The Gorlice branch of Rockfin was established in 1997. At the time, the office was located in the city centre with two garages serving production purposes. The branch was set up to carry out production and service work for the Zakład Oponiarski (Tyre Plant) in Dębica.

The current expansion of the Gorlice facility includes an additional production space of 3500cu.m with gantry capacity of 40 tons, and 1000sq.m of modern office space, a trebling of production space. The investment will also result in enlarging the workforce.

“The current employment in the Gorlice plant is 140, however, there are plans to increase it to 170 employees”, says Dariusz Brach, Director of the Gorlice Division and Production Plant.

The investment in the new production hall in Gorlice was made possible thanks to the support of the Kraków Technology Park (KPT) under the Polish Investment Zone scheme, and amounted to over PLN33 million. This significant amount proves commitment to our development and innovation.

“We are delighted to support and work with one of the world’s leading engineering firms, which will now produce specialised mechanical systems in Gorlice,” Tadeusz Zaremba, CEO of KPT, explained.

“We are proud of our company’s achievements and continue to strive for innovative solutions that meet customer expectations. We extend our thanks to the team for their hard work and dedication, and to all our customers and business partners for their trust and support. Our gratitude also goes to the Kraków Technology Park and territorial authorities for the support that enabled such a substantial investment. We are confident that our company will continue its dynamic development and achieve even greater success in the future,” Dariusz Brach, Director of the Gorlice Division and Production Plant disclosed.

Rockfin’s main strategy is the development of new products and active participation in the ongoing energy transformation. New technologies are supplied to nuclear, wind, and solar power plants. The company also focuses on the development of hydrogen technologies, as they are a promising and future-oriented part of future energy transformation.
