For three days, from May 18 to 20, the heart of Małopolska hosted 2300 participants from 53 countries who came together for Digital Dragons Conference 2025, a prestigious B2B event for the game industry from Europe and beyond.
Frostpunk 2 awarded Polish Game of the Year 2024

The creators of Frostpunk 2, 11 bit studios, were awarded no less than three Digital Dragons Awards statuettes, including one for the game of the year 2024. Other awarded studios were Critical Hit Games (for Nobody Wants to Die), Rage Quit Games (Best Mobile Game – Tomorrow: MMO Nuclear Quest) and LocalThunk (Best Foreign game – Balatro).

Nearly 2 Billion Invested by Entrepreneurs in Małopolska

Entrepreneurs in Małopolska and Jędrzejów County (Świętokrzyskie Province) have announced 60 new investments for 2024. These projects amount to nearly 2 billion in investment and will create hundreds of new jobs. The investments are supported by a tax incentive under the Polish Investment Zone (PSI) programme, operated in the region by the Kraków Technology Park (KPT).

The potential of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) can now be harnessed to enhance Poland’s security, facilitated by ongoing legislative work. A draft regulation by the Council of Ministers, amending the regulation on public aid granted to certain entrepreneurs for new investments, has been included in the Legislative Work List of the Council of Ministers.
