What we do
Since 2012, Krakow Technology Park has been supporting the video game industry – a key segment of the creative industries market – by creating a space that fosters collaboration between artists, businesspeople and developers.
We carry out these activities under the brand of Digital Dragons – a comprehensive ecosystem for game development, at the heart of which lies the iconic Digital Dragons Conference, a key B2B event for the industry, bringing together 2,500 people from over 50 countries worldwide every May at the ICE Congress Centre.
We also support start-ups through the Digital Dragons Accelerator (currently operating as part of the KPT ScaleUP Booster project) and shape training policy for game development personnel as the body leading the Sectoral Council for Competences – Gaming and GameDev.

Digital Dragons Conference
Fifteen years of tradition, a business-focused approach, an extensive, multi-faceted programme, the country’s oldest and most prestigious awards for the best games of the year, a dedicated exhibition area for independent studios, and spectacular networking events – all this contributes to the strength of Digital Dragons, one of the most important landmarks on the European game development map.
The next edition will take place on 17–19 May 2026 at the ICE Congress Centre. Tickets and stands in the Indie Zone are already on sale.
Digital Dragons accelerator
Since 2021, we have carried out 10 incubation and acceleration programmes for a total of 65 graduates. We assist independent studios at every stage of development, sometimes supporting them during the prototyping phase and in securing investors, and sometimes during international expansion and the promotion of the finished product.
We work with mentors from the leading game studios, offering intensive industry networking and practical knowledge based on real-world market experience. We focus on workshops, exercises and discussions, provide direct feedback and foster a community learning environment where we learn from one another.
Sectoral Skills Council – Gaming and Game Development
As the body responsible for running the Council, we analyse and monitor the skills needs of the games industry, whilst disseminating information on current qualification and professional requirements. We actively collaborate with sector stakeholders, initiate, organise and participate in activities that support skills development, and formulate recommendations on how to align the workforce with the real needs of businesses. We respond promptly to changing trends and new educational and skills requirements, supporting the sustainable development of the entire industry.
