INNOventure

Over the years of the Krakow Technology Park Seed Fund’s operation, its team has gained a wealth of experience, which it has decided to apply to other initiatives aimed at bringing innovative solutions to market. In December 2014, together with the National Centre for Research and Development, it established the INNOventure fund, which specialises in the commercialisation of research and development outcomes.

INNOventure supports scientists, inventors, engineers and entrepreneurs in developing their projects, bringing them to market and increasing their value. By entering into a partnership with the fund, project initiators can count on minimal bureaucracy, protection of intellectual property, a transparent commercialisation pathway, and funding for pre-incubation activities and investments.

The INNOventure fund works closely with universities, research institutes, technology transfer centres and university spin-off companies. This collaboration has resulted in the establishment of the first companies based on intellectual property developed at universities as well as on the outcomes of research and development carried out in private enterprises.

KPT Seed Fund

The KPT Seed Fund is a joint venture between Krakow Technology Park and SATUS Venture. Its portfolio comprises over 20 companies, a significant number of which have already attracted further investors – both individual investors and venture capital funds.

Between 2010 and 2014, the Fund’s investments were financed by the the Innovative Economy programme. Since 2015, the Fund has been making equity investments using its own funds derived from the sale of shares in companies in which it had previously invested.

FZKPT is particularly interested in projects within the gaming industry.
