Green transformation

The green transformation is a process of implementing solutions that reduce the environmental impact of business operations, whilst simultaneously cutting costs, boosting efficiency and strengthening an organisation’s competitiveness. The Krakow Technology Park supports companies and institutions at every stage of this transition, providing access to knowledge, experts, proven tools and technology partners.

Our offer

The Krakow Technology Park (KPT) offers a comprehensive suite of green transformation services designed to guide various organizations—including startups, corporations, and public institutions—toward sustainable and circular business models. The process typically begins with tailor-made expert workshops and specialized training sessions that utilize methodologies like Design Thinking and the 6R framework. These initial steps focus on diagnosing an organization’s current environmental impact, identifying key sustainability challenges, and developing strategic “green” business foundations. Participants gain a better understanding of essential concepts such as carbon footprint calculation, the Sustainable Business Model Canvas, and the core principles of the circular economy.

Beyond strategy and education, the offer provides practical implementation support through circular economy transformation maps and pilot programs that allow for the low-risk testing of green innovations. Companies can utilize KPT’s Living Lab for real-world product testing, participate in organized study visits to observe best practices in action, and join international projects like CIRC-2-ZERO to access advanced tools like digital twins for waste reduction. These combined efforts are aimed at helping organizations reduce operational costs, simplify supply chains, and lower resource consumption, ultimately ensuring that their transition to sustainable operations is both efficient and aligned with modern market demands.

Projects

As a technology park, we actively participate in numerous initiatives, including those relating to sustainable development. We are often on the lookout for domestic partners willing to get involved. By participating in project activities, your company will be the first to gain access to new tools and an international network of contacts. Choose a project, find out what it involves, and discover how you can benefit from taking part.
