Euroclear: a success story of development and investment in Kraków

In 2013, in the heart of Małopolska, Euroclear took the strategic decision to open its office in Kraków. Over the past decade, the company has not only established a strong position in the local market, but has also become a symbol of innovation and growth. Today, we are proud to announce another milestone in Euroclear’s journey: the establishment of a new shared services centre in Kraków within the Polish Investment Zone, which we are confident will have a significant impact on the development of the city and the region.

New shared services centre – innovation and development

In June 2023, Euroclear announced an investment worth over PLN 150 million, which will contribute to the creation of a modern shared services centre in Kraków. As part of the project supported by the Poland Investment Zone programme, the company will create 259 new jobs, increasing the size of its team to over 1,200 professionals.

The shared services centre will provide key services to the Euroclear Group, including:

Technology: research and development (R&D), application design, user support and project development;
Support functions: HR, accounting, audit, legal services and operational excellence;
Commercial and product management: support for the Group’s strategic activities worldwide;

Kraków as a hub for modern business and technology services

For years, Kraków has been attracting global leaders who appreciate the local talent pool and institutional support. Thanks to Euroclear’s investment, the city is consolidating its position as a European hub for modern business and technology services.
