Support programme

Hub4industry European Digital Innovation Hub

hub4industry is a comprehensive support centre for industrial companies that want to transform their production towards the Factory of the Future.

What’s hub4industry?

Hub4industry is a project implemented by Krakow Technology Park, operating within the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network. The project is aimed at small and medium-sized manufacturing companies that want to find out what digital technologies can be implemented in their plants and how to translate them into specific production processes. We offer over 60 free services that form a coherent path to digitalisation, including audits, consulting, training, PoC and technology implementation, tailored to the needs of the SME sector.

The services are provided by the hub4industry consortium, which combines technological, consulting and research expertise.

What services you can use at hub4industry

We offer audits, consulting, training and testing of Industry 4.0 technologies (proof of concept), as well as support in obtaining development financing. Our services are aimed at manufacturing companies that want to test and implement new technologies in a way that suits their processes and capabilities.

Companies can benefit from, among other things:

  • the development of a roadmap for digital transformation towards Industry 4.0,
  • audits of production processes and consulting on automation and optimisation,
  • selection and testing of ERP, MRP, MES and APS systems,
  • testing of AI and RPA-based solutions,
  • analysis and optimisation of IT and OT networks, including cybersecurity audits (NIS2),
  • testing of 5G, IIoT, NB-IoT technologies and modern network solutions,
  • training and technology workshops, including robotisation,
  • technology transfer and support in financing technological investments.

Training courses, workshops, study visits

We organise training courses, workshops and study visits to production plants that implement Industry 4.0 technologies. During the meetings, you can see specific solutions in practice, talk to companies that use them, and consult your challenges with experts. The events are aimed at owners of manufacturing companies, technical staff, production engineers, automation specialists, robotics specialists, maintenance specialists, and teams responsible for innovation and development.

Showroom of the Factory of the Future in Krakow

We have created a showroom in Krakow where you can see Industry 4.0 technologies in action and test them in real production conditions. It is a space designed for discussions, comparisons and tests — without ‘catalogue’ demonstrations and ready-made recipes.

We present solutions in the field of robotisation (including welding, palletising and logistics components), industrial networks, data analytics and cybersecurity. We invite manufacturing companies that want to see the technologies ‘live’, ask questions and assess whether a given solution makes sense in their plant.

The Factory of the Future Showroom operates in two locations in Krakow: at 3 Wrobela Street (ASTOR Robotics Centre) and 29 Smoleńsk Street (ASTOR Technology Park). Visits are free of charge and require prior registration. The form and details are available on the project website.
